Geta, as Caesar, 198-209. Denarius (Silver, 19 mm, 3.95 g, 1 h), Laodicea ad Mare (?), 198. L SEPTIMIVS GETA CAES Bare-headed, draped and cuirassed bust of Geta to right, seen from behind. Rev. SPEI PERPETVAE Spes advancing left, holding flower in her right hand and raising her skirt with her left. BMC 688. Cohen 192 var. (draped only). RIC 96 var. (draped only). A lightly toned example with a lovely portrait of eastern style. The obverse struck slightly off center, otherwise, about extremely fine.
